and Diffusion (20 points)
Complete this OR the Innovation
and Industry assignment. Create a visual presentation showing
the changes to a specific area of technology, over time. Analyze
your technology to determine if the pace of development and diffusion
is increasing. Each student will:
- Find or create images or examples
that display at least 5 innovations or advances to your chosen
technology, over time. Each innovation should show a significant
change compared to the previous example. (5
points)
- Label each innovation
of the technology, state it's name, describe the change or advance,
and the year that the innovation was produced or designed. (5
points)
- Write a brief statement analyzing
whether or not this technology demonstrates an increasing pace
of development and diffusion in 50 words or less. (5
points)
- Cite your sources. (5
points)
Product Choices: The purpose of the assignment is to demonstrate and share your understanding. You have several choices in how you may do this using any means that can be shared digitally. Choices include:
- PowerPoint: Create a slideshow showing changes to a technology over time.
- Video: Use a video camera to create a short video collage of changes over time.
- Word: Create a word document that describes and shows changes over time.
- Video Podcast: www.voicethread.com allows you to create a video podcast
- Draw your example or cut and paste (literally) from any information source. Then photo your example with a digital camera and submit.
- Suggest any other method of sharing your understanding, to your teacher, for approval.
Post your assignment to the

Board before the due date listed on the course calendar.
