Through the discussion board, you must communicate a brief message to the rest of the class. The catch is that you may not communicate your message using traditional english text. You may use a graphic to illustrate you message. You may develop a new language. You may use a series of symbols or icons to convey your message. You can appeal to visual, tactile, or auditory stimuli.
Assignment: Think back about what you know about how communication works and how information is transferred. Without using traditional english text, on the Communicate Differently Discussion Board, communicate a message to the class. You may use symbols, icons, images, audio or any other form of communication EXCEPT common written languages. After you have completed creating your message, reply to a classmate telling them how you interpreted their message. When the schedule directs you to, reply to your own post, stating the actual message you were trying to express. You will be graded on the following:
-Original post including your message expressed in an original way (10 points)
-Reply post to a classmate telling them how you interpreted their message (5 points)
-Reply post to your own post stating your intended message (5 points) |
