Simulation: System Stability and Feedback

Systems range from simple to complex. The greater the complexity of the system, the greater the need for feedback to maintain and control the system. The likelihood of system failure increases with complexity. Few systems are as complex as those found in a nuclear power plant, and few system failures have as great a potential for negative consequences than system failure at a nuclear power plant.

In this activity, you are to manage a nuclear power plant through an online simulation. Once at the simulator page, click instructions and select a difficulty. Then start the simulation.

While there is no assignment to complete with the simulation, it is strongly advised that you attempt it at least once. You can use the experience you gain in the simulation to help you complete the Systems Thinking Assignment or the System Failure discussion.
