Apply: Ages Artifact
 Now that you have been exposed to some of the different ages throughout history we, as a class, will be creating a Virtual Museum of artifacts from different time periods. For each of the time periods listed below, find a tool or some kind of technological resources that was developed and used during that time. Find an image to accompany each resource you find. You will also provide a brief description of the object and how it was used. Your contribution to the museum will be either a word document or a power point presentation including your descriptions and images. Assignment: Use the provided word or power point templates to help the class develop a Virtual Museum. Find an item, tool or technological resource that was developed during each of the time periods listed below. Provide a image of that item and a brief explanation of why it was developed during this time and how it was used. Your submission will be graded on the following criteria:
-Submission includes an artifact from each of the following time periods: (5points)
–The Stone Age
–The Bronze Age
–The Iron Age
–The Renaissance
–The Industrial Revolution
–The Information Age
-Submission includes an image of each item.(5 points)
-Submission includes a description for each item explaining why the item was developed during this time period.(5 points)
-Submission includes a description for each item explaining how the item was used.(5 points)
When you have completed this assignment post it to the Virtual Museum Discussion Board as an attachment. In the body of your discussion board post, list each time period and the corresponding item you selected. |
